Created in October 2022, the SOP (Statistics, Optimization and Probability) team conducts research in statistical learning, computational statistics and operations research. Fundamental or methodological contributions address issues related to

. combinatorial optimization (in graphs in particular)
. analytical combinatorics (applied to stochastic processes)

Algorithms are developed and analyzed taking into account their efficiency, speed and ability to incorporate data on the fly and to explore high dimensional spaces while controlling costs.
