SAMOVAR research lab
Created as a Formation de Recherche en Evolution (FRE 2310) in january 2001, the SAMOVAR lab is promoted in 2003 as Unité Mixte de Recherche (UMR 5157) jointly between Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and Telecom SudParis (TSP). In january 2020, SAMOVAR is becoming a proper research lab at TSP le 1er janvier 2020.
The main scientific topics of SAMOVAR are computational statistics, multimedia data engineering and e-health, high performance and software engineering, optical technologies for networks, ubiquitous and distributed computing, IoT including software networks, services and cybersecurity.
