Methods and models for networks

Team leader: Tijani CHAHED

The scientific topics of METHODES are at the intersection between networks, computer science and applied mathematics including modelisation,   performance evaluation, optimisation, test and validation, and simulation.

METHODES is doing fundamental research with an applicative aspect mainly related to networks.

Polyedric methods, stochastic bounds, formal methods, robust optimisation, queing theory, graph theory, game theory and aggregation methods are examples of fundamental research.

Traffic engineering for mobile networks, architecture evaluation of future access networks and optical networks, sensor network simulation, test for adhoc networks and web services, clustering of sensor networks and robust routing are part of the applicative research done by METHODES.
