“Ontology Based Context Modeling and Reasoning using OWL” by Daqing Zhang, granted the Ten Years CoMoRea Impact Paper award

in IEEE PerCom 2013, San Diego, USA. PerCom is the premier conference in Pervasive Computing and Communication with an acceptance rate of 10.6% this year.

The paper was published in IEEE CoMoRea workshop in PerCom 2004, so far the paper got more than 780 citations according to Google Scholar. The proposed two-tier OWL-based context model has been widely accepted by the pervasive computing, mobile computing and service-oriented computing community.

In this year PerCom conference, we also have a regular paper accepted (acceptance rate 10.6%). Totally the PerCom 2013 only accepted 19 regular papers.
