Afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la productivit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;utilisation du spectre, une nouvelle approche a \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9e : le \u00ab partage dynamique du spectre \u00bb. Les r\u00e9gulateurs, les industriels et les scientifiques ont examin\u00e9 le partage des bandes f\u00e9d\u00e9rales entre les d\u00e9tenteurs de licences (utilisateurs primaires) et les nouveaux entrants (utilisateurs secondaires). La nature d&rsquo;un tel partage peut faciliter les attaques d&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence et mettre en p\u00e9ril les param\u00e8tres op\u00e9rationnels des utilisateurs primaires. Par cons\u00e9quent, le but de cette th\u00e8se est d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la confidentialit\u00e9 des utilisateurs primaires tout en permettant un acc\u00e8s secondaire au spectre.<\/p>\n<p>Premi\u00e8rement, nous pr\u00e9sentons une br\u00e8ve description des r\u00e8gles de partage et des exigences en termes de confidentialit\u00e9 dans les bandes f\u00e9d\u00e9rales. Nous \u00e9tudions \u00e9galement les techniques de conservation de confidentialit\u00e9 (obscurcissement) propos\u00e9es dans les domaines d&rsquo;exploration et d&rsquo;\u00e9dition de donn\u00e9es pour contrecarrer les attaques d&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, nous proposons et mettons en \u0153uvre notre approche pour prot\u00e9ger la fr\u00e9quence et la localisation op\u00e9rationnelles contre les attaques d&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence. La premi\u00e8re partie \u00e9tudie la protection de la fr\u00e9quence op\u00e9rationnelle en utilisant un obscurcissement inh\u00e9rent et explicite pour pr\u00e9server la confidentialit\u00e9. La deuxi\u00e8me partie traite la protection de la localisation op\u00e9rationnelle en utilisant la confiance comme principale contre-mesure pour identifier et att\u00e9nuer un risque d&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, nous pr\u00e9sentons un cadre ax\u00e9 sur les risques qui r\u00e9sume notre travail et s&rsquo;adapte \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres approches de protection de la confidentialit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ce travail est soutenu par des mod\u00e8les, des simulations et des r\u00e9sultats qui focalisent sur l&rsquo;importance de quantifier les techniques de pr\u00e9servation de la confidentialit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;analyser le compromis entre la protection de la confidentialit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 du partage du spectre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Radio frequencies, as currently allocated, are statically managed. Spectrum sharing between commercial users and incumbent users in the Federal bands has been considered by regulators, industry, and academia as a great way to enhance productivity and effectiveness in spectrum use. However, allowing secondary users to share frequency bands with sensitive government incumbent users creates new privacy threats in the form of inference attacks. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to enhance the privacy of the incumbent while allowing secondary access to the spectrum.<\/p>\n<p>First, we present a brief description of different sharing regulations and privacy requirements in Federal bands. We also survey the privacy-preserving techniques (i.e., obfuscation) proposed in data mining and publishing to thwart inference attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Next, we propose and implement our approach to protect the operational frequency and location of the incumbent operations from inferences. We follow with research on frequency protection using inherent and explicit obfuscation to preserve the incumbent&rsquo;s privacy. Then, we address location protection using trust as the main countermeasure to identify and mitigate an inference risk.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we present a risk-based framework that integrates our work and accommodates other privacy-preserving approaches.<\/p>\n<p>This work is supported with models, simulations and results that showcase our work and quantify the importance of evaluating
