Jeudi 2 f\u00e9vrier, 14 H, T\u00e9l\u00e9com ParisTech, Salle C49, 46 rue Barrault, Paris 13 Hardware security in mobile and embedded systems is drawing much attention in the context of the rapid growth of Internet-of-Things. Due to the higher accessibility, security threats and vulnerabilities for \u00ab\u00a0things\u00a0\u00bb located everywhere are much more critical in comparison with PCs and servers in a room. In particular, the threats of side-channel attacks are non-trivial because they can be done by relatively low-cost equipment in a non-destructive manner. In the last few decades, a variety of side-channel attacks have been introduced and defeated, but they are still being one of the hottest topics in the field of hardware security research. This talk will start with an overview of hardware security research, and then introduce some state-of-the-art studies including on-going ones collaborated with Telecom ParisTech.<\/p>\n * Le s\u00e9minaire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral (usuellement le 1er jeudi du mois) porte sur un sujet d’int\u00e9r\u00eat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, couvrant alternativement les th\u00e9matiques du d\u00e9partement et au-del\u00e0. Il s’adresse aux doctorants, post-docs, chercheurs et enseignants-chercheurs et plus globalement toute personne que cela int\u00e9resse. Il est effectu\u00e9 par des chercheurs ext\u00e9rieurs ou par des chercheurs du d\u00e9partement. Il a pour objectif d’aborder les sujets propos\u00e9s sous un angle large, visant \u00e0 l’enrichissement de la culture scientifique de chacun au-del\u00e0 des domaines d’int\u00e9r\u00eat imm\u00e9diat. Les doctorants et jeunes chercheurs sont particuli\u00e8rement concern\u00e9s, l’ouverture d’esprit \u00e0 laquelle peuvent contribuer ces s\u00e9minaires \u00e9tant, vis-\u00e0-vis d’un futur
