Le champ excit\u00e9 au sein d\u2019une telle cavit\u00e9 \u00e9volue dans le temps et dans l\u2019espace au gr\u00e9 de ces modifications. Se peut-il qu\u2019un concept aussi \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire et non contr\u00f4lable quant au champ \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique produit dans une telle enceinte apporte des solutions pour la caract\u00e9risation de dispositifs radiofr\u00e9quence ?<br>Nous nous proposons de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette question en introduisant les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physiques associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la cartographique \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique du champ dans une telle cavit\u00e9. De ces propri\u00e9t\u00e9s th\u00e9oriques, qui peuvent \u00eatre \u00e9prouv\u00e9es sur le plan exp\u00e9rimental, nous pourrons en tirer certaines conclusions sur la fa\u00e7on des les exploiter en vue de diff\u00e9rentes applications couvrant, entre autres, la production de champs d\u2019intensit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e pour l\u2019\u00e9tude de la compatibilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique, des exp\u00e9riences de focalisation spatio-temporelles ou plus largement la manipulation de front d\u2019ondes, la mesure de caract\u00e9ristiques d\u2019antennes ou de surface \u00e9quivalente radar, au besoin en contournant les protocoles de mesure habituels. Dans un registre totalement diff\u00e9rent, une chambre r\u00e9verb\u00e9rante offre \u00e9galement la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9tudes relatives \u00e0 l\u2019exposition animale aux ondes \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques. Nous terminerons par quelques perspectives.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ing\u00e9nieur de l&rsquo;\u00e9cole universitaire d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nieurs de Lille (EUDIL, 1990), Philippe Besnier obtient le doctorat en \u00e9lectronique de l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Lille en 1993. Apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;un an \u00e0 l&rsquo;ONERA, \u00e0 Meudon, en tant qu&rsquo;assistant scientifique dans la division CEM, il a tout d\u2019abord travaill\u00e9 au sein du laboratoire de radio-propagation et d&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique (LRPE), \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Lille, en tant que charg\u00e9 de recherche au CNRS de 1994 \u00e0 1997. De 1997 \u00e0 2002, il est directeur du Centre d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes et de recherches en protection \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique (CERPEM) d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la recherche, l&rsquo;expertise et la formation dans le domaine de la CEM (Laval, France). Il a \u00e9galement co-fond\u00e9 et dirig\u00e9 TEKCEM en 1998, une petite entreprise sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les syst\u00e8mes cl\u00e9s en main pour les mesures CEM. De retour au CNRS en 2002, il rejoint l&rsquo;Institut d&rsquo;Electronique et des Technologies du Num\u00e9Rique (IETR) &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ietr.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.ietr.fr<\/a> -, Rennes, France. Philippe Besnier est nomm\u00e9 directeur de recherche au CNRS en 2013. Il est, depuis juillet 2017, directeur adjoint \u00e0 l\u2019IETR.
