Dans le cadre du projet STIC-AmSud \u00ab\u00a0Towards Energy-efficient Software for Distributed Systems\u00a0\u00bb, Yudith Cardinale, Ana Aguilera<\/strong> et Regina Ticona,<\/strong> trois invit\u00e9es de l\u2019\u00e9quipe ACMES pr\u00e9senteront des th\u00e8mes de recherche en cours dans le cadre de ce projet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voici les biographies et les titres des expos\u00e9s:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yudith Cardinale<\/strong> is a Full Professor and Researcher at Universidad Internacional de Valencia, Spain since 2018 and the Principal Researcher of the Research Group in Data Science (GRID). She is also Full Professor in Computer Science Department at Universidad Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar (USB), Venezuela since 1996. She is the President of the Venezuelan Computer Society. Her research interests include parallel processing, distributed object processing, operating systems, digital ecosystems, high performance on grid and cloud platforms, collaborative frameworks, and web services composition, including semantic web. She has written a range of scientific articles published in international journal, books, and conferences, and has participated as member of program committees of several international conferences and journals. She has been the coordinator of a variety of international research projects.

Ana Aguilera<\/strong> received the B.S. degree in computer science engineering from Lisandro Alvarado Central Western University (UCLA), Barquisimeto, Venezuela, in 1994, the M.S. degree in computer science from Simon Bolivar University, Caracas, Venezuela, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in medical informatics from the University of Rennes I, Rennes, France, in 2008. She is currently a Full Professor with the Faculty of Engineering, Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda Inform\u00e1tica, University of Valpara\u00edso, Valpara\u00edso, Chile. Her research interests include the fuzzy databases, data mining, social networks, and medical informatics. She was accredited in Program for Researcher Promotion of Venezuela, Candidate Level, in 1998. Since 2011, she has been a member of the Program Encouragement for Research and Innovation Researcher (PEII) Level C, Venezuela. She is a member of the Venezuelan Association for the Advancement of Science (AsoVAC) and a member of Venezuelan Computer Society (SVC).

Regina Ticona<\/strong> is a full professor and researcher at Universidad Cat\u00f3lica San Pablo (UCSP), Arequipa, Peru. She is the president of the post-graduate studies of UCSP. She is associate researcher at l’Ecole Sup\u00e9rieure des Technologies Industrielles Avanc\u00e9es (ESTIA), Bidart, France. She is also associate professor at the International University of Valencia (Spain). She got her PhD degree in Computer Science at the Universit\u00e9 de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA), France. She got her Master’s degree in business management at the University of Mondrag\u00f3n, Spain. She participates in projects with the following institutions: University of Bourgogne (France), University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), University of Chile, Universit\u00e9 de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour, Ecole Sup\u00e9rieure des Technologies Industrielles Avanc\u00e9es and the Universit\u00e9 de Lorrain (France). She was coordinator of the Computer Science and Industrial Engineering professional programs at UCSP. Her main research interests are Semantic Web, Database, Information Retrieval and Tangible Interfaces. She is coordinator of the Knowledge Representation research group at UCSP.
