The particular properties of these structures have led to improved mode-locking performances, as well as its uses as chip-scale optical frequency comb sources. In this talk, I will present my contributions to the development and engineering of optical frequency combs generated thanks to single-section QD and Qdash based lasers and their applications in WDM coherent optical transmission and will conclude with my future research projects in optical frequency combs for extended applications such as data processing and fiber optic sensing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mes principales recherches ont port\u00e9 sur les lasers \u00e0 verrouillage de modes constitu\u00e9s de nanostructures semiconductrices de type bo\u00eetes quantiques et b\u00e2tonnets quantiques. Les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques de ces structures ont permis de d\u00e9montrer leur utilisation pour la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&rsquo;impulsions optiques performantes et pour la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de peignes de fr\u00e9quences optiques sur puce. Dans cet expos\u00e9, je pr\u00e9senterai mes travaux portant sur le d\u00e9veloppement de ces peignes de fr\u00e9quences optiques g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de lasers autopulsant \u00e0 base de nanostructures ainsi que leur utilisation pour des transmissions optiques WDM de type coh\u00e9rente. Je conclurai cet expos\u00e9 par mes projets de recherche visant des applications de traitement de donn\u00e9es par voie optique et de m\u00e9trologie \u00e0 base de capteurs \u00e0 fibre optique.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AVIS DE SOUTENANCE concernant M.
