Les personnes souhaitant assister sont pri\u00e9es d\u2019envoyer par mail leur nom, pr\u00e9nom et nationalit\u00e9 \u00e0 khadija.daoud@orange-ftgroup.com avant le 15\/2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nL\u2019explosion du volume de trafic de donn\u00e9es dans les r\u00e9seaux mobiles, pr\u00e9vue pour les ann\u00e9es 2010-2020, est commun\u00e9ment admise par les communaut\u00e9s acad\u00e9mique et industrielle. La capacit\u00e9 de ces r\u00e9seaux \u00e0 supporter cette croissance de trafic, coupl\u00e9e \u00e0 une forte pression sur la r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts, est un enjeu majeur pour les op\u00e9rateurs.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9seaux mobiles, d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s ou en cours de standardisation, r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 un mod\u00e8le en couches, avec: (1) un r\u00e9seau d\u2019acc\u00e8s, mono ou multi technologies, offrant une connectivit\u00e9 IP aux utilisateurs; (2) une couche de contr\u00f4le de service, telle que l&rsquo;IMS, la solution standardis\u00e9e la plus aboutie aujourd\u2019hui; (3) une couche d\u2019interaction (PCC), entre le r\u00e9seau d\u2019acc\u00e8s et la couche de contr\u00f4le de service, permettant le contr\u00f4le des politiques r\u00e9seau. Ce mod\u00e8le est tr\u00e8s centralis\u00e9 et comporte plusieurs types de noeuds r\u00e9seau hi\u00e9rarchis\u00e9s. <\/p>\n<p>Il est \u00e0 l\u2019origine de probl\u00e8mes de passage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle et de qualit\u00e9 de service (d\u00e9lai d\u2019acc\u00e8s au service, d\u00e9lai de handover, difficult\u00e9 d\u2019adapter le service aux ressources). La r\u00e9solution de ces probl\u00e8mes augmente encore la complexit\u00e9 du mod\u00e8le, ce qui nous a conduit \u00e0 le revisiter.<\/p>\n<p>Dans cette th\u00e8se, un nouveau mod\u00e8le pour les futurs r\u00e9seaux mobiles est propos\u00e9: Ultra Flat Architecture (UFA). UFA utilise l\u2019IMS comme solution unifi\u00e9e pour le contr\u00f4le de tout type d\u2019applications, SIP ou non. L\u2019architecture est dite \u00ab\u00a0plate\u00a0\u00bb puisqu\u2019elle r\u00e9duit le nombre de noeuds r\u00e9seau \u00e0 3 principalement: (1) une Gateway UFA offrant une connectivit\u00e9 physique au terminal et regroupant \u00e0 la fois l\u2019ensemble des fonctionnalit\u00e9s du r\u00e9seau d\u2019acc\u00e8s, de la couche de contr\u00f4le de service (IMS) et de la couche de contr\u00f4le des politiques r\u00e9seau; (2) une Gateway permettant le support des services non-SIP; et enfin (3) le terminal.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la conception de l\u2019architecture, notre contribution s\u2019est focalis\u00e9e sur la sp\u00e9cification de trois proc\u00e9dures principales d\u2019UFA: <\/p>\n<p>l\u2019enregistrement\/authentification, l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de service et la mobilit\u00e9. Nous avons optimis\u00e9 les deux premi\u00e8res proc\u00e9dures par rapport aux proc\u00e9dures standardis\u00e9es de l\u2019IMS. Par exemple, la proc\u00e9dure d\u2019\u00e9tablissement de service pr\u00e9sente un d\u00e9lai r\u00e9duit et permet une configuration du service ou de la couche de transport selon les ressources disponibles dans le r\u00e9seau. Nous avons aussi sp\u00e9cifiquement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une proc\u00e9dure de mobilit\u00e9 pour UFA. Cette proc\u00e9dure se base sur le transfert, d\u2019une Gateway UFA \u00e0 une autre, des contextes de toutes les couches OSI li\u00e9s \u00e0 un terminal, et sur la d\u00e9termination proactive par la Gateway UFA de tous les param\u00e8tres des couches du terminal, n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 son attachement \u00e0 la nouvelle Gateway UFA.<\/p>\n<p>La derni\u00e8re partie de la th\u00e8se consiste \u00e0 \u00e9valuer le mod\u00e8le UFA et les proc\u00e9dures propos\u00e9es. Nous avons d\u2019abord mesur\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019aide de mod\u00e8les analytiques, le d\u00e9lai d\u2019\u00e9tablissement de service dans UFA et dans le mod\u00e8le existant. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent qu\u2019UFA fournit de meilleures performances, et mettent en \u00e9vidence sa grande capacit\u00e9 de passage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle. Nous avons ensuite impl\u00e9ment\u00e9 UFA sur une maquette. Au-del\u00e0 de la validation de ses concepts, nous avons relev\u00e9, pour les applications (e.g. voix, vid\u00e9o) transport\u00e9es sur le protocole RTP\/UDP, un d\u00e9lai de handover performant. Enfin, nous nous sommes int\u00e9ress\u00e9s aux applications (e.g. streaming) transport\u00e9es sur le protocole SCTP. <\/p>\n<p>Nous avons montr\u00e9, par simulation avec NS2, l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de l\u2019architecture UFA et de sa proc\u00e9dure de mobilit\u00e9 dans l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des performances de ces applications, en cas de mobilit\u00e9.
