Toutefois, le d\u00e9nominateur commun de toutes les applications de r\u00e9seaux de capteurs reste la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 des micro-capteurs en raison de leurs ressources mat\u00e9rielles limit\u00e9es dont la plus contraignante est l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.<br \/>\nCette th\u00e8se a pour objectif de d\u00e9velopper des techniques permettant d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique des r\u00e9seaux de capteurs destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la surveillance d&rsquo;une cha\u00eene de froid. Dans ce domaine, l&rsquo;existant consiste en des enregistreurs de temp\u00e9rature fix\u00e9s \u00e0 demeure dans les entrep\u00f4ts et les v\u00e9hicules de transport, qui contr\u00f4lent essentiellement la temp\u00e9rature ambiante de stockage qui n&rsquo;est pas n\u00e9cessairement celle du produit. En int\u00e9grant les micro-capteurs aux dispositifs de conditionnement (palettes ou bacs), et en les dotant de moyens de communication sans fil, on permet le suivi int\u00e9gral de la cha\u00eene depuis l&rsquo;usine de fabrication jusqu&rsquo;aux rayons des d\u00e9taillants.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re approche d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e dans cette th\u00e8se concerne la phase de transport des produits alimentaires. Les protocoles propos\u00e9s VBS, WaS et eVBS s&rsquo;adressent \u00e0 la probl\u00e9matique pos\u00e9e par l&rsquo;absence de station de base permanente au sein du petit r\u00e9seau d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 dans un camion o\u00f9 g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement les noeuds sont en visibilit\u00e9 directe. Ces m\u00e9thodes ont le triple avantage de pr\u00e9senter un faible overhead, d&rsquo;accro\u00eetre l&rsquo;ergonomie de l&rsquo;application et l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e9conomique du r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l&rsquo;\u00e9tat de l&rsquo;art, il n&rsquo;existe pas de d\u00e9ploiement de tr\u00e8s grands r\u00e9seaux de capteurs sans fil destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la surveillance d&rsquo;une cha\u00eene de froid. Le coeur de cette th\u00e8se se positionne ainsi autour de la probl\u00e9matique du passage \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle (scalability), en proposant plusieurs approches permettant d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique globale du r\u00e9seau. Ainsi des optimisations du routage et des techniques de formation de clusters multi-sauts sont propos\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 quelques id\u00e9es originales d&rsquo;utilisation de l&rsquo;indicateur de la qualit\u00e9 de lien (LQI) mesur\u00e9 au niveau de la couche MAC. Le LQI est d\u00e9fini dans le standard IEEE 802.15.4 (ZigBee), mais son cadre d&rsquo;utilisation n&rsquo;y est pas pr\u00e9cis\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le protocole L2RP de routage par r\u00e9partition de charge, le m\u00e9canisme SNCR de r\u00e9duction des clusters singletons ainsi que le protocole LQI-DCP d&rsquo;optimisation du positionnement des chefs de clusters sont des contributions de cette th\u00e8se exploitant le LQI afin d&rsquo;accro\u00eetre l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique du r\u00e9seau. De plus, <strong>nous avons montr\u00e9 que l&rsquo;heuristique MaxMin de formation de clusters multi-sauts n&rsquo;est pas compatible avec la topologie de d\u00e9ploiement en grille qui est la plus
