Doudou Fall, du NAIST (Japon) le 5 f\u00e9vrier 2019 \u00e0 10h30 en G10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Title:<\/strong> Fault (Vulnerability) Tree Analysis, the solution to all your security issues?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong>: Fault tree analysis (FTA) is a method that is used to prevent fault<br \/>\noccurrences  in mission-critical systems such as nuclear power plants, aerospace<br \/>\naircrafts, electricity grids, etc. FTA has a track-record of successfully helping experts<br \/>\nin the mentioned fields to prevent major accidents. In this seminar, I will show how<br \/>\nwe  can repurpose FTA into a Vulnerability Tree Analysis (VTA) to help prevent<br \/>\ncybersecurity attacks in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud computing, the<br \/>\nInternet of Things (IoT), and industrial control systems (ICS).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-1147\" src=\"https:\/\/samovar2022.int-evry.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/doudou_fall.png\" alt=\"doudou_fall.png\" align=\"left\" width=\"195\" height=\"206\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>Biography:<\/strong> Doudou Fall is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Laboratory for Cyber Resilience, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST). His research interests revolve around quantifying the security risk of: cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Control Systems, and Cyber-Physical Systems. He also likes to play with security vulnerability data and the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS).
